Hi All,
I get an error when printing to a network printer (Fax) on a shared server.
For instance; I am printing an invoice or something similar that I want faxed out. The fax server is shared with a network path name of \\server\fax
This seems to fail when you use a number typed in or one from the contact list associated with Microsoft Exchange.
The error production steps are as follows:
Click print ->
Wizard opens ->
Printer is selected (\\server\fax) ->
Add telephone number manually or select one from list in address book ->
<sidenote>
If you select one from the address book, it will be entered, but if you then click the edit number and select "OK", you will receive an error that the number is in an incorrect format. This looks like it is because it pulls in the parenthesis around the area code. If the parenthesis are removed, you do not receive the error.
</sidenote>
Select print and you receive a program error stating the following:
"Invalid path or filename"
There are three choices from here on out;
1.) Cancel - which produces the following error:
M.O.M. requested opening of the file named C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033\MOMLOG.DBF. The file is not present on your drive/directory. Please check to see that you have not deleted any files, and that you are running the MOM program in the usual way.
--->OPTION = OK , then it crashes.
2.) Ignore - Which produces the following error:
"object MAINTOOL not found" and the window reappears after all subsequent terminations.
3.) Help - which produces the following error:
A window is launched for help that contains empty entries. There are topics, without the referenced documentation
Any help on this issue would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks.
