Were on track to be integrating MOM here at our company, but we just got pitched a 10k server as a minimum requirement to run the MOM software.

Can anyone tell me what other options alternatives there might be, can we just purchase a fairly beefy server with sqlexpress?
do we have to have sql standard?

Any user recommendations out there in regards to hardware setup?
