Does anyone use MOM to manage their storefront? If so, what workarounds are you using?
The POP module works ok unless you do custom orders. Or have to ship the product. Or have more than one register in a company.
I read a suggestion on Yahoo! about using a custom shipping method for retail sales that need to be picked/customized, but what do you do about reciepts?

MOM and Terminal Services
03 January 2005 - 11:56 AM
A remote terminal is going to connect to our network with Terminal Services (remote desktop connection in XP Pro) and It seems to work fine except for one problem: Text doesn't show up in MOM when you type. After you hit enter or tab to another field, it appears. It doesn't do this in any other applications.
Anyone run into this before?
As an unrelated side note, the file sysopts.exe reinitializes/reinstalls MOM, wiping out all databases and registration information without asking for confirmation. Guess how I found that out?

Edit pick list format
17 December 2004 - 06:48 AM
We don't want our pickers to see our cost for merchandise, but it is listed on the pick list. Is there a way to edit the format of the list?
reports.dbf references picktick.frx, but that file does not seem to exist.
Ideas?

Assigning bins in bulk
08 December 2004 - 12:58 PM
We have no real need for bins, but apparently have to use them. We found this out after entering most of our products. There has to be a way to assign bins and warehouses to our products using dbuwin or Visual Foxpro, but I am not a DB guy and don't want to mess things up too badly. The dydacomp guy said that the DBs that needed to be modified are bin, stock and inventor, but would not tell me what to modify.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Mike
