I understand that... I was just wondering if someone had learned to trick MOM into doing something it wasn't designed to do. Such as: enter an html command in the customer notice that downloads and prints a pdf file off of our web site or from a file on the server.

yea i mean you can make a notice to send out that just contains a link to the pdf instructions available to download or view from your website.

Yes its called the import export module. You can build a spreadsheet with all this data and easily import it including the sitelink picture paths.

In Topic: Need instruction to remove a computer as a workstation

Well first, I have to say that Dydacomp recommends only one computer be a commissioned UPS workstation (even though I have 2 or 3.)

Planetdj, ive read some of your responses and must say you are quite good with the system. bravo.

To clarify the reason it is recommended to only have one commissioned station is that if you do not use the additional stations to upload the "end of day" they will eventually expire and need to be recommissioned.
I believe its something like 30 or 60 days later.
Its just easier if you pick one computer and always send the end of day from it.

One other note: depending on your inventory accounting method as set in global parameters accounting tab, there are a few other details to know. If you are set to average cost, then you will see the unit cost update in the product setup right away. if you are set to lifo or fifo, then it will not change until you make a sale of the item.
do NOT use dbuwin for something that is easily done in the program.
