Order was placed and credit card was approved but now customer wants to cancel. I returned the item but how do you refund the credit card?

Print the order and then you will see that a refund is due. Process the credit card and it will be done. Don't worry about any messages that the refund was more than the charge - Just OK it and do it.Order was placed and credit card was approved but now customer wants to cancel. Everything should come out OK.
If the cancellation is the same day as the sale, you may want to just void the transaction in MOM and in Authorize.net BOTH. This may save you a few pennies on the transaction fees.
