We are using MOM v7i and I am trying to setup the order import for importing the file we download from PayPal. I am
using the wizard and have it basically figured out except for the
following issues:

1. When I export data from paypal if there are two different items on
an order it puts the order two times on the export file. EX:

order#123....Item#456
order#123....Item#789

However when you import into MOM it wants the two different items from
the same order to be in columns i.e...product 01 product 02 etc...

2. When I export data from paypal it combines the first and last
names into one column, and MOM, of course, wants the opposite. First
Name...Last Name.

I am having extreme difficulties trying to map fields like this. My
customer service people will be doing the paypal download to MOM order
upload several times a day and most of them cant even figure out how
to adjust the size of their computer screens! ANY assistance or
guidance on Mapping order data between PayPal and MOM 7i would be
GREATLY appreciated!!

Egan,
Importing and exporting are two totally different animals in MOM. I understand that your problem is importing orders from PayPal. I don't know any way of mapping the process.

What you have to do is write a program to read the download file from PayPal, convert it to MOM format, and then import the resulting file into MOM. There is no other way I know to do it.

I don't import from PayPal but I do import from another program. I use MS Access for my import program. I only allow certain trained individuals to download the data from that program because I'm not great at anticipating all of the wierd things people can do to mess up a simple straightforward download-convert-import process.

If you can do a little programming and just need guidance on the logic, ask your questions and I'll try to help.
