Scenario:

We sell hats of different sizes and colours. These all have one item number but are listed as size/colour variations of that item. One hat sells for say $20. Purchase two or more, and each becomes $15.

The discount is set to automatically apply when a quantity of 2 or more is entered, the unit price changes to $15 on the order. However, we can't get it to change automatically when the two ordered are different sizes/colours. They are listed as separate line items, no way around that, why would you want a way around it? But can the price change be automatically applied when more than one is ordered if each are a different size or colour?

Thanks,
KJ

In the Stock Item Information dialog under the Pricing tab there's a field called "Mix & Match Code".

From the help: "MIX & MATCH CODE - you can discount a whole group of items using a common two character mix & match pricing code. Each item in the group gets the same code. Any quantity DISCOUNT established in the pricing table, automatically affects any/all items in a customer's order with that mix & match code. For example, buy any 3 of the items on this page of our catalog and take 25% off the price of each item. Each item on the page would have the same mix and match code and each item would have a quantity discount of 25% for 3 or more. Note: In Order Entry, Mix and Match is displayed on the screen when applicable mixed-and-matched line items are ordered."
