We have an issue during our stock take in that some products were input originally without a cost price being put in at the time. Now we want to put in a price for the items we cannot because the box is greyed out.

You can edit the uncost field in the stock.dbf by using dbuwin.exe. Depending on what you are doing, you may want to edit the inventor.dbf as well.
