Hi All

nice little scenario for you to ponder!

I imported inventory using stock.dbf, butprice.dbf and price.dbf.

currently we have nothing in stock but are taking orders.

when we take an order a purchase order is put in line. all good stuff.

however, even after processing the purchase order, it reappears again, in line. Also, though I have created the po, it does not show on the 'open po' section on the item details.

any ideas?!!

Regards

patrick

Hi Patrick.

This might have something to do with the BIN.DBF table. If you don't populate the bin table I have found that the stock calculations go wrong. MOM has a check and balance in the STOCK table and the Bin table.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

dave

thanks for the reply. We do not use bin locations. I have the bindbf template, what should I do in your opinion?

I have a test system running side by side, so i can experiment as inspiration hits me

Hipatryk1,

I hope my suggestion helped. What are you using to generate the update? Coldfusion, Excel? DBUWIN.

Also, this forum is looking for tech writers. If you had a second to document a basic how to... I think this would be an excellent article.

Best,

David
