Is it just us, or do other MOM users have trouble with squiggly red "spell-check" lines appearing under descriptive text in memo fields? This has plagued us since version 3 and V5.3 still exhibts this behavior in demographic fields, purchase order text, email composition, etc.

When I asked about this in version 4, Dydacomp said it's a Microsoft thing but I don't see it happening in any other application. What about it? Got lines?

Hey Dap,

I don't have those lines in MOM but I do see them in Word 2003. Do you have a screen shot?

Cheers,

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

I've attached an illustration of a couple examples. The first is on a custom demographics page we added the other is in the standard PO item description. Wherever MOM encounters a memo field - the dreaded red squiggs appear. It's been this way forever. We have a mix of MS-Office 2000, XP, 2003 clients and it's the same for all. - Dean

Hey,

Thanks for the screenshots. This doesn't look like the Word 2003 strike thru I get on my sys.

Are you running MOM 5.? I haven't been able to duplicate this on my system running WIN XP and MOM 4.3

Cheers,

Dave

We're running V5.3, but this has occurred since V3. So, I'm guessing you've never seen this in MOM before?
