Hi,

In the Maintain / System Information /Global Parameters /Notices you can setup a default notice to be sent when an invoice is SHIPPED (item status changed from PS to SH).

Please note that in MOM 4.3 the notice is a summary notice only and does not have the ability to include item details.

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

  • Interests:We've used MOM fulltime since about 1999. Our business consists of the sale of motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV apparel, accessories and some parts. We used SITELINK for awhile and had numerous problems with it. Currently we use Global Webcart as our web platform. Our product lines consists of items we drop ship, stock or have just in time inventory for.

Sending the invoice via email instead of mailing.

Hello: Many of our orders are dropshipments. In these cases we end up printing the invoice and then mailing it to the

customer. Of course this causes us to waste time printing, stuffing and mailing the invoice. As well as incurring the

postage expense.

What we would like to do instead, is to email the invoice to the customer.

As for the format of the email. The invoice could either be:

1. Contained within the body of the invoice as html
2. Attached to the email as a pdf file.

Ideally we would be able to run the creation and sending of the invoice during MOM order processing.

Is anyone doing this yet and if so, how did you set it up?

I've already read a previous thread concerning this,

http://momfaq.com/fo...89&hl=invoicing

We would like to know of anyones experience doing this.

Some issues we see when doing this:

1. The ability of the customer to receive an email.
2. The ability of the customer to open/view a PDF if the PDF format was used.
3. Customers wanting a paper invoice sent to them.

Note we have Report Writer and are running MOM 5.4

Thanks

Michelangelo was the greatest of Florences artists. Visitors line up2 for hours at the Accademia Mu-seum for a look at his impressive David. This 140-foot-high statue (雕像) has become the ideal human figure of the Renaissance. David is an example of Michelangelos talent for sculpting people simply, yet powerfully.
More of Michelangelos works can be seen in the great Palazzo Vecchio. Paintings and carvings of famous Italian artists fill the palace rooms.

To get a feel of modern Flo-rence, join the evening promenade (散步). This traditional feature of Italian life begins around 6:00 p.m. when everyone gets off work. Peo-ple stroll3 down the streets of central Florence to do last minute shopping or just chat with friends. Be sure to stroll past Perche Noi, home of the oldest and best ice cream in the city.

Florence has given the world many great art treasures. Some stand in gardens and squares. Others line the walls of beautiful palaces. Still others are the palaces themselves. For art lovers, Florence is indeed paradise.
Tasks:True or false.
1. Before the Renaissance artists mainly painted pictures of ordinary people.
2. Michelangelos David was in the great Palazzo Vecchio.
3. Some palaces in Florence are art treasures themselves
