We are considering using MOM 5.0 for our order management software. Using coupons, cross-selling, upselling and continuity is vital to our business. Also the ability to claim multiple coupons and catalog specials are quite common.

Does anyone have any feedback from their experience?

Don't do it. MOM is hell on Earth.

Don't do it! No customer service at all, plus they promise you things that end up not being true after they have your money!

Maybe all true claims! However, what is your better solution for this new potential customer?

We have been using MOM for approx 6 years and are currently using 6.1 and reasently purchased the Interprize SQL version to swithch over after the Christmas season. We are overall pleased with MOM. Like anything there are learning curves and for the $$$ MOM was the best our there. There are other packages similar to MOM, but the cost is very high. I would advise finding someone in support you can work with and stick with them. Most of the support folks are good however I have found their turnover is like any other business. My other issue was SiteLink. We customized our e-commerce web site and do not use the Dydacomp store. I understand the newer version of SiteLink is much improved over the earlier versions. Bottom line I would recomend MOM.

I have been using it for 15 years. DO NOT DO IT !!!!
Once you make the investment in time and money it is hard to go back

To put it mildly IT SUCKS !!!!!

Sitelink is a nightmare, specially tech support. Al Pascale is absolutely incompetent.

If anyone tells you otherwise they are probably a MOM employee or investor.

I hope nobody minds a self-serving message here, but guys, there is an economical alternative to MOM. The Stone Edge Order Manager has been available since 2000, and has the 2nd or 3rd largest installed base among order management systems (over 2,000 merchants). It is less expensive than MOM and we don't nickel and dime you with a bunch of pricey add-ons, but it is very competitive on features, and has direct integration with over 40 shopping carts and sales channels. Please feel free to give us a call at 610-994-3699 to discuss your needs and see if we can help you. I will also be glad to answer any questions you might have here in this forum.
