As we go to press, the construction crew has just begun to frame-out our brand new dedicated SiteLINK server room. When complete, the new room will accommodate nearly 100 servers with dedicated cooling and power back-ups in the event of a power interruption from our utility. Many of our larger clients have opted for the "dedicated server" premium hosting service, so the demand for more hardware continues. And, we're also tripling the capacity of our Internet connection by adding a new DS3 Internet connection, the equivalent of over 25 T1 lines.
In addition to the physical expansion of our server capabilities, we have recently restructured the SiteLINK service team. Formerly a part of the larger M.O.M. service team, SiteLINK is now handled by a dedicated group with it's own dedicated manager. In addition, SiteLINK users will soon have direct phone access for the new SiteLINK technical support group, as well as dedicated contact e-mails for weekend and after-hours assistance. Finally, the addition of several new SiteLINK service team members enables us to expand our 24/7 coverage with more timely response to store issues.
With signs of economic improvement on the horizon, this year's holiday shopping season is anticipated to be strong. We look forward to helping all of our SiteLINK users through what promises to be a busy 4th quarter for web merchants.
