#1675 MOM 6.0 on the way - Mid Jan 2007

Posted by Lisa Gittleman on 20 December 2006 - 11:04 AM in MOM FAQ News & Information

Hi Jay,
I checked in with my developers as this question is outside the field of my technical expertise. I was informed that although there are database changes including the addition of an auto-increment field, moving your custom reports to V6 is a matter of a simple re-link. Tech Support will be available, as always, to assist you with this. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the enhanced reporting functions of M.O.M. 6.0 that I'm sure you saw in the feature list and PowerPoint that Chris posted.

All best,
Lisa

#1669 MOM 6.0 on the way - Mid Jan 2007

Posted by Lisa Gittleman on 19 December 2006 - 11:12 AM in MOM FAQ News & Information

I'm happy to hear that everyone is as excited about the upcoming release of M.O.M. 6.0 as we are!

I think there may be some misunderstanding about upgrade pricing that I'd like to address. Our upgrade pricing for the Main Enterprise System (core unit/US Edition) has remained consistent going back to version 4.3 at LESS THAN $1,000 --even less for those who take advantage of the early promotional pricing. The same is true of the optional module and per station pricing under $500 per module in most cases and even less with the early promotion. Costs over and above that may be applicable if you are several versions behind and require multiple updates -- which bears out that it saves your business money in the long run to keep your software current.

If you have any questions at all about the price for upgrading your M.O.M. system or the exciting new features available in V6.0 or you'd like to schedule an online demonstration, please call your M.O.M. Specialist at 800-858-3666. We look forward to showing you what the next generation of M.O.M. can do for your business.

Thank you for your continued business and I hope that you are all enjoying a successful and happy holiday season!

Dydacomps SiteLINK Merchants Exceed comScore Benchmark for Holiday Sales
- SiteLINK users show 32% increase over same period last year

TOTOWA, N.J., December 14, 2006 Dydacomp, a leading provider of ecommerce solutions for multichannel merchants, announced today that users of its SiteLINK ecommerce hosting service have outperformed the comScore Networks retail statistics for the holiday season through December 8 versus the same period last year showing a 32 percent increase in sales.

In a press release issued by comScore on December 10, chairman Gian Fulgoni stated, Online consumer spending growth continues to beat expectations, increasing 25 percent versus last year. While the comScore research indicates a general upswing in online retail sales, Dydacomp attributes the growth above the well publicized industry benchmark to recent investments in technology, search engine optimization and its specialized multichannel integration features.

The SiteLINK platform, in conjunction with the Mail Order Manager order management system, offers advanced usability for both customers and merchants alike, said Al Pascale, Dydacomps Manager of SiteLINK Support Operations, Our move to a new, world class data center prior to the onset of the holiday season has provided clients greater site speed which directly correlates to the number of completed online sales. We are pleased and gratified to have contributed to our customers success during this critical time of year.

Approaching its 10 year anniversary in 2007, SiteLINK was at the forefront of ecommerce applications and was designed exclusively as a complement to Mail Order Manager (M.O.M.) order management and processing solutions. Users of SiteLINK and M.O.M. benefit not only from the ease-of-use and speed of the applications but the proven business rules and best practices that lie at the heart of both solutions.

This looks like I found the full site...yikes!!!

I hope even half this stuff isnt true, we just ordered MOM.

Hello SpiritnWord,

I don't recognize your "handle" as a new customer but welcome you to the Dydacomp family and to this independent user forum. As you may already know from my earlier posts, I joined the Dydacomp team this summer and contribute as much as I can to this group as well as to the Dydacomp sponsored forum at http://forum.dydacomp.com. While I was not with the company when the anonymous dydaconjob website was active, I assure you that Dydacomp takes such matters very seriously.

In fact, strict online ethics policies and a forum committee have now been created at Dydacomp as a result of such accusations. In addition, Dydacomp has tracked the origin of the anonymous site to Marietta, GA but has held all other known details about the site's origins/intentions private to channel energy into customer service, product development and other projects that will allow MOM users to continue to grow and succeed.

Welcome again to the MOM user community and congratulations on your first post. Please feel free to contact me or any member of the Dydacomp team at 800-858-3666 when we can be of any further assistance. Best success this holiday season!

I just spoke to Paul Mendelsohn, our XL Implementation Engineer and he'd be happy to help you.

You can call him at 800-858-3666.

Thanks,

I hope someone might be able to help here.

This is what the error states:

Error number: 55
Error message: Memory file is invalid
Program: READ_START
Line Number: 25434
I have tried installing it on to other PCs and they work just fine. It is just this one that is giving me this problem. I even reinstalled it and made sure nothing in my Registry has MOMXL. Cleared cache, cleared Virtual Memory, and Cold boot the PC. It still wouldn't open after installation with the same problem. What can be the problem?

Thx
