We have a client who is using mail order manager and wants to avoid storing full CC numbers in MOM to reduce the PCi compliance burden. Does anyone know if there is a way to pass just the last 4 digits of the card and the authorization or transaction ID, then do a capture in MOM from that prior authorization?

Thanks,

Dana

Sounds like what you want is called the token system where your credit card processor stores the card number and gives you a token to store and use that is unique to your company and cannot be used elsewhere. You will then be able to charge future orders, backorders, refunds, and etc. without having to store the credit card number.

Unfortunately, MOM has not implemented this program. When they do, we'll probably have to upgrade to MOM 8 to use it...

Has tokenization been implemented in either MOM or the cloud based OMS? Our MOM use is only for a part of the whole organization and the rest is requiring third party tokenization of all CC info as a means to PCI compliance.
