Hi everybody,

This is my first post on this forum but I'm so glad I found it! It looks like a great resource for a fairly frustrating piece of software!

Although our list of problems with MOM is long, I have one that I hoped somebody might know a quick answer to.

One of our users has somehow ended up with their "Customer and Order Lookup Form" in an unmoveable position. If you see the attatched image you can see how the top of the form in question has moved behind the main button bar of MOM and as such can't be dragged around the screen. I have tried the windows shortcut for moving a form/window (Alt+Space+M) but this doesn't seem to help at all.

Has anyone experienced this problem before or have any idea how we can regain control of this form?

Thanks in advance

Adam

Temporarily change your screen resolution in Windows to make it visible.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried this and all that happens is that the form stays in it's relative position.

Anyone got any other ideas?

And if you select "Cancel" to close the box, it reappears this same was when you lookup again?

Unfortunately yes, regardless of how I try and open/move/close etc the form always appears in the same place. It isn't causing too much of a problem at the moment because the rest of the fields/buttons on the form are still accessible but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it so far and its driving me crazy!

Finally got a call back from Dydacomp today and spoke to someone called Luke who turned out to be REALLY helpfull. I thought I'd supply the solution here in case anyone else should ever experience the same problem.

He sorted a bunch of our other problems too but solved this by using DBUWIN to edit a file called "formpref.dbf", this contained the "left" and "top" values for all the different forms used by all the different users. Somehow the form in question had a negative Ntop value which was placing it off the top of the screen. Resetting this value to "0" repositioned the form in the correct place.
