Hi guys,
Is there any way to import information into the Custom Line Information of an item in MOM? I've looked at the import file and there doesn't seem to be a field for it?
Cheers,
Dave

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

Hey,
Adding a field into the import table is easy but telling mom about that field on the next import is impossible. It would probably cost an arm and a leg inorder for MOM Helpers to modify the source code.
I guess I'll have to write a seperate routine following the import process in order to enter the line item specific information into the ITEMS.DBF table
Cheers,
David

Hi,
I think you should look in the stock.dbf using the dbuwin, Custom Line Information of an Item is the Customtext field.

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback. The custom line item info I am looking for is actually in the ITEMS.DBF table. It is the area in mom where you enter detailed information for a customer.
ITEMS-> Custinfo field.
I need to populate this field at the import stage.
Cheers,
Dave
