This is my first use of this forum, as a result I am unfamiliar with the topics that have been discussed previously.
1. We are having continuing problems transferring data from MOM to
Quickbooks. We make this transfer once a month, and are finding that often
there are imbalances in data for some days. As a result, Quickbooks will
not accept the data for that day. Since this information has now been
posted, the data must be entered manually, which is very time consuming
since we have substantial numbers of transactions each day. In addition,
we don't know of any way that we can determine if any of the data is out of
balance before the transfer is made. Does anyone have any suggestions?

2. We are having increasing complaints from customers about the fact that
Site link does not allow payments from customers using MAC computers to
be processed. This, in effect, makes it very difficult for MAC users to shop
on our site. This will have increasing importance as e-commerce grows.
Are there any efforts being made to correct this shortcoming?

Hello Dick,

Did you contact SiteLINK support about this issue? I don't believe this is a bug with SiteLINK, it may be something with your site that we can look into.

Please contact SiteLINK support at [email protected] or (973) 774-4100 and they can assist you.

I'll also drop them an email and ask them to call you.

Sincerely,

Regarding the issue of of using a Mac to shop on a SiteLINK store:

What browser is the customer using - IE or Safari? I tried shopping using Safari on a Mac and it worked so it may be something with cookie settings or something else along those lines.

Also, all Macs come with Internet Explorer. They should be able to shop on the store using IE without a problem. In fact, a lot of bank websites are not yet compatible with Safari because the browser is not yet complete. Because of this, the banks insist that their clients use IE.

When you get a chance, do a Google search for "apple safari problems" (or something similar) and you should be able to find some info about online shopping problems.

Hope this helps.
