In the stock item information for a product...says we have zero in stock, commited, backoredered so forth

But in the bin preference says there are 11 in stock. If you try to adjust the amount it goes to a negative in stock. How do I get rid of the quantity that appears in the bin. We dont use the bins at all so I dont know how it got there to begin with :(

Hey,

You will need to run the program in your momwin folder called DBUWIN.EXE

You can run it exclusively (with everyone out of MOM) from START / RUN in windows example Z:\momwin\dbuwin.exe or Z:\momwin\dbuwin.exe s ((the "s" stands for shared which will allow you to access the the tables while others are signed in)).

Once in dbuwin, click OPEN and find the BIN.DBF table.
Browse BIN.DBF for the item number in question.
Type the correct units of stock into the UNITS column.

** You are playing with live data. Any changes you make here can not be reversed. Always make sure you have a backup of your MOM folder before you start playing with any of the live data.

Cheers,

David

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

Hey,

Terrific! I'm glad I could be of assistance! 6 years of MOM experience under my belt and I'm glad I can put it to good use.

Cheers,

Dave
