Hi Guys,

Just started as IT support manager at this company. They are currently running MOM ver5.2 and unfortunately I have very llittle experience with this software.
The problem being expereinced is that the application runs extremely slow ( 40 -80 users). We are running mom on a 2003 server. Is there anything specific I should be looking at to speed the application up?

Thanks,

Leighton

Welcome Leighton,
Welcome to the wonderful world of MOM!

I would start by updating your MOM to 5.4 and then see if there are any problems.

We only have a dozen users and we don't have any problems with speed EXCEPT when our domain server's hard drive is full.

Antivirus is biggie -- make sure your MOM folder is excluded from any real-time scanning. Also, make sure that all of the workstations only have TCPIP protocol installed. IPX/SPX, Appletalk, etc. will kill performance.

Good luck and let us know what fixed it... thanks
