Hi there,

We've recently upgraded from MOM 3 to MOM 5. In MOM 3 when we printed the Invoice out, it cut off some of the words on the right side of the page. A few decimal points here and there plus some wording. Now on version 5 it's the same thing. Where can we change the page size, or at least what is the problem with the printing of Invoices?

Thanks a lot,

Chris

Hi Chris, we print our invoices landscape style you could try that just to see if it works. We do this for filing purposes. We quick print all orders but I think the same print screen comes up with batch printing. If you hit the setup button on the right you can change a few things about how the invoice prints. One nice thing about landscape printing is you have lots of room on the right side and the bottom of the invoice for hand written notes.

Hi there,

i've asked the person to try out the Landscape printing, they say they might have a problem in folding the paper as it is used to send something else out. If the landscape printing works, they might not be able to fold it correctly. They will try and let me know.

Thanks for the advice. I'll let you know how they come on.

Thanks a lot,

Chris

Hi again,

They aren't able to print Landscape (they can, but doesn't work out well). So is there any changes that can be made to the print job so this will print out wider? Can we change the font size perhaps?

Thanks,

Chris

I would recommend changing the margins in your printer settings if you can. It could be the printer also, with our setup we changed printers one time and started loosing info on the right side and it was a margin issue.

Hope that helps,

Dana

I have experienced the same problem you describe using an HP 1200 series laser printer. I solved the problem by changing the paper to a custom size. I had to do this at each work station, with both Windows 98 and Xp computers. Start to print an actual MOM invoice, from the MOM print screen click on "Setup", then click "Properties", then "Paper", then click the "Custom" button. A custom paper screen will open. Type a name (ie:MOM) in the Name field, then change the Width to 8.65 inches and click on "Save", before clicking "OK" change the paper size by selecting the custom (MOM) size from the drop down list, then click "OK". Now you should be back to the MOM Print screen. Select Print to print the invoice.
