After a rocky start, I'm curious what you MOM 6 users out there think of it now.

Is it buggy? Was it a big deal getting your R&R reports updated? Does Harvey CPS work ok now? Probably most important: do you wish you were still running 5.4, and why?

Getting more and more stable every day. We've been using it since early July. I'd recommend it in 2-3 months minimum.

There are still many bugs to be worked out, and for software this expensive, should have been much better than this. We managed to lose a decent amount of money due to duplicate shipments because of the a bug in the system that has still yet to be worked out in the system.

Customer Support (as usual) is terrible.

We have a whole set of reports we run with MOM data and the MOM software upgraded to Foxpro9. This caused a problem because Microsoft doesn't support ODBC for FoxPro9. We switched to the OLE database driver, which involved partial rewrites of many query statements, etc. You can check out the info here

It'd be nice to hear the opinions and horror stories of others.

My advice: If you have no real need to upgrade to MOM 6, don't, at least not yet.

I was reading posts about how the MOM 6.0 upgrades were going on the Dydacomp forum and there are still a lot of users that are having problems with v6. Mainly with slow speeds. However, there are several users that claim to have no problems with v6. We upgraded to v6 in Jan/Feb of this year and had to 'downgrade' back to 5.4 due to the unbelievably slow speeds and other quirks. Since the holiday season is fast approaching we are going to hold off until Jan/Feb again before we try it again.
