I would like to create a report for specific items that has been discontinued and would like to send an alert letter to the customers that have ordered the item

can some one point me to the right direction
  • what tables to use
  • our sku's example 4r6y-b91egw , the first 4 digits represent the manufacturer and item name,
and next set represents the size
is an wild-card possible for the first set of the sku
  • is "/" the text qualifier
  • most customers order more than once how is it possible to filter or group the duplicate customers
  • how do i design to letter with RR
I have attached an sample report that i have tried to design

your help is greatly appreciated
