Crystal Reports XI and accessing MOM DBs

Basically I am trying to access the raw MOM dbfs with Crystal Reports v11. I am choosing xBase as the connection type (as suggested by Crystal) and keep getting a connection screen to login to the .dbf. I have full access to the database file, which is located on my Desktop, but CR is still thinking I need to put a username and password.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do I need to get a special Visual FoxPro driver? Help!
I have contacted Crystal Reports and I don't think they have a clue over there.
Frustrated....

Hope this guides you in the right direction. If you are still having trouble after this, let me know and I can dig a little deeper into what I was doing before. It's just been so long that it's a little cloudy.

Hi Rod,
Did you manage to get Crystal Reports to work?
I think I have a couple of CR10 reports that we can share if you are using CR.

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

There is an Updated Visual FoxPro driver from Microsoft... http://msdn.microsof...bc/default.aspx
You will need to set up MOM in your Systems ODBC, so Crystal knows where / how to connect. (I setup a System DSN called "MOM" for Visual FoxPro, and tell it where the tables are. That's what has been working for me!)
Then, it all just works! And, best of all, using reports designed by others is easy!

Hi Dave,
I know this is an old post, but do you have any info on the OLE DB driver for the MOM 6.0 ver? I downloaded & installed a VFP OLE DB driver, but can't find it in the Data Sources. Any suggestions.
Also, I am using Crystal Reports 11 & am new to CR; does anyone have any reports that you are using that you'd be willing to share? I have done a little 'reverse engineering' to fix errors in existing Access reports a few years ago, but linking data tables is a new skill set that I am scrambling to learn.
I'm new to the forum & am so glad to find it!
