A prospective client told me about http://www.dydaconjob.com which was created by someone who is obviously no fan of Dydacomp.

I don't know who this knuckle head is, or why he wastes so much time on this non-issue, but I certainly don't appreciate having my email address plastered on his little propaganda site.

Looking for more input on this, I was and still am leary about making this post visible on here... can anyone enlighten me on this matter?

Everyone should realize that just like this is bringing to light a possible Dydacomp scam, this website could also be a scam itself... Just saying that everyone should be careful how you interpret this information.

It would imply hat godaddy took it back from whoever registered it.

Hello SpiritnWord,

I don't recognize your "handle" as a new customer but welcome you to the Dydacomp family and to this independent user forum. As you may already know from my earlier posts, I joined the Dydacomp team this summer and contribute as much as I can to this group as well as to the Dydacomp sponsored forum at http://forum.dydacomp.com. While I was not with the company when the anonymous dydaconjob website was active, I assure you that Dydacomp takes such matters very seriously.

In fact, strict online ethics policies and a forum committee have now been created at Dydacomp as a result of such accusations. In addition, Dydacomp has tracked the origin of the anonymous site to Marietta, GA but has held all other known details about the site's origins/intentions private to channel energy into customer service, product development and other projects that will allow MOM users to continue to grow and succeed.

Welcome again to the MOM user community and congratulations on your first post. Please feel free to contact me or any member of the Dydacomp team at 800-858-3666 when we can be of any further assistance. Best success this holiday season!

Although MOM has many problems, the website referenced above is not presenting a fair or balanced view of MOM. If you note the dates of the postings, you will see that most of the postings are very old and do not reflect the current situation.

Thanks for the reply,
When i say new customer, i mean really new, we get our full version software on Monday.
I was hoping that the issues had been resolved in version 5.2. But... since i am going to be in charge of the Sitelink portion of the website i wanted to ask a question, perhaps you have an answer.

What would it take to put our fully operational Sitelink internet store on a CD that could be sent to customers so that they could browse and select items offline but then go online and do a "one click" order?

Ok one more question. What is the average down-time we can reasonably expect if we use mom and go through Site-link? I suppose everyone has downtime, so that's not that big a problem, i just want to know what to expect. Don't worry i'm not here to "bash" M.O.M or anything i just have some questions.

Thanks,
Stephan

Spiritnword -

Hello again and thank you for including your company information. Your question about putting your SiteLINK store on a CD is a little beyond my technical expertise. If you'd like, email your private email or phone number to me at [email protected] and I'll forward your questions to a technician that can get you quick answers. Or, if you prefer, just email your question right to [email protected]. You may also want to try posting your message in the Dydacomp-hosted support forum at http://forum.dydacomp.com as SiteLINK technicians monitor that group daily.

Thank you again and welcome aboard!

Hello again!

I just wanted to say that after several months with Dydacomp/ MOM and Sitelink that whoever those idiots were that bashed this company were DEAD WRONG!!! We've had the most AMAZING service and support from these guys, we have two e-commerce sites with them and we are VERY pleased with. In fact it makes me really mad that we almost DIDNT go with Dydacomp because of the"dydaconjob" site. We have spent hours and hours on the phone with Sitelink support getting them to answer every question imaginable and they have always been most helpful and knowledgable.

The ONLY drawback is the long waits on the phone to actually GET someone, but once you do they know what they are talking about. Try e-mail it seems to get a faster response.

Thanks,

As was stated earlier, that person took OLD posts (out of context and out of order) and pieced them together in to hateful anti-Dydacomp propanda. Dydacomp and MOM both have had their fair of problems, but MOM is evolving in to a polished, comprehensive solution for a good price and with decent support.

Please, anyone considering going with MOM, don't go by what that jerk posted to make up your mind. Yes, someone from Dydacomp did make a post full of lies about a competitor to the MOM users' group, BUT it appears that it was a "lone gunman" and it also appears as though Dydacomp is doing something about it.
