The DNS servers weren't responding for most of the day.

Dana,

The forum still seems "glitchy". Downloads don't work and the View New Posts link outputs a flood control error 90% of the time.

I notice some minor upgrades to the funcionality of the site but the overall impression I have is that the forum has some major bugs to workout.

Is there something going on that the members need to know about?

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

Well, the DNS problems were from moving to a different server that couldn't handle the site then moving it back...

the upgrades killed the download section so I am going to just have you attach the appropriate download files to the appropriate threads in the download forums. That download module that I was using is not being supported properly so this is the only option, I just need to know what extensions to add to the allowed attachments.

The view new post thing errors out if there are no new posts to show.

Couple other issues:

1. The "Mail Order Manager Forums" link directly under the MOMFAQ.com logo used to get me to the forums (fora?) but now links to the site's front page, even on the front page. The identically named link in the "Site Navigation" box still works, fortunately.

2. The blue boxes to the left of the forums in the list used to be dark when there were new messages posted, and light when there were not. Now they are always dark.

Dana,

Thanks for the quick response. Good luck restoring the various features.
