I see that MOM supports the Avery 5160 30-label laser sheets for catalog mailing, but I don't see a way to have it print mailing labels for orders on those sheets.

Eventially we may go with one of the invoice forms that include mailing labels, but even then we will have some orders in envelopes that are just plain too small for that. Also, we use them to fill in the shipping address on customs forms.

Is there a 3rd-party program available that will let us choose orders from the MOM database and print labels to these Avery sheets? Quickbooks does this now, but of course we're switching to MOM for order handling due to QB's artificial limits. Ideally it would allows us to also pick how many of each address to print. QB does not do this and it would be great to not have to feed sheets through so many times.

Through ODBC you can use MS ACCESS to get at MOM data you can then use the label wizard to printout lables in whatever avery or custom format you desire. Of course, it depends what you want to do and how you want to do it. I can help if you like just tell me exactly what you're looking for...

I'll likely take the DIY approach. I just need to learn how to use ODBC in VB5.

I did contact Avery and they sent me the specs on their 5160 sheets, so that will hopefully eliminate a bit of trial & error. They also suggested I ask Dydacomp if they might add support for it to MOM, but I get the feeling that's not likely to happen unless I pay for custom work, and MOM is expensive enough for a small shop like ours as it is.
