Is it possible to modify the database files such that the various quantity fields have 3 rather than 2 decimal places? If so, would MOM be able to make use of the added precision, or are two decimal places hard coded into the user interface?

We sell yard goods, and it would be nice to be able to sell them by the eighth of a yard rather than the fourth MOM's two decimal places limit us to.

Thanks for any insight!

This could be a problem. Some of our suppliers measure the fabric bolts to the eighth of a yard. Could make entering purchases a bit hairy.

Does anyone with experience with this have any tips?

If you have a test environment to play in go into dbuwin and change the precision in the stock table and see what impact it has. You might have to change the sales/inventory related tables as well like invoice.dbf but you'll see pretty fast whether it works or not.
