One issue we see is when we export orders out of Mom, and bring them back in the credit cards become corrupt.
What happens is that Mom stores and exports credit card numbers as encrypted and when the orders are reimported into Mom the encrypted card number becomes reencrytped and cannot be interpreted by Mom.
Does anyone know how this problem can be addressed?
It would seem Mom should be able to check for imported orders with encrypted card numbers and know how to handle them but does not.
Help please, Mom customer service tech's say its a security thing, but it is an obvious bug..
Thanks

I'm curious... why would you export an order and then reimport it?
If you are changing the order after you have exported it, why not just update the fields that were changed - leave the credit card field as it was originally?
