Hi,

Is anyone able to list CMS.DBF or STOCK.DBF in Microsoft Access?

Cheers,

David

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

Hello David,

Works fine here.

Mom 5.2
Access 2002

I had to delete the un-named dbf file from the directory.

Occasionally I find I need to reindex before all tables will showup. I find the best way is to delete all of the .cdx files and restart MOM and they will be rebuilt.

I ftp'd the cust, cms, stock, & items tables to my SQL Server where I also have Access. Access "saw" cust, cms, & stock, but not items. So I rebuilt the Items index in MOM, ftp'd the table and index, and Access still can't see that table. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Michael

As mentioned above, delete the .cdx files in the MOM folder, open MOM and it will reindex all tables, then you should be able to see all of them. The indexing feature rebuids within the existing cdx file. If there is corruption in the index it doesn't fix it. The above process does.
