Hey,

How much for your "generic importer" >??

In my experience there is nothing generic about Amazon or Ebay's data feed.

Generic usually means a lot of data manipulation.

Cheers,

David

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

We in the UK use the Mailsolve Generic importer. Basically the program works by setting up mapping templates. Once these are setup the generic importer will MAP and manipulate the data for you in a MOM specific format. This saves in the longer run the manual manipulation that you have to do on a daily basis. The support is good as they have helped my with the setup of the templates. Which can be quite complicated. At the moment we run templates for Amazon Marketplace, Marketworks (for our eBay sales) and our e-commerce package. MOM and this tool allows us to have one centralized database, with sales in multiple channels, without being locked in to B-quality marketplace software.
