Hi, I'm trying to setup a remote shipping workstation using Citrix and am having trouble reading our Transcell scale which I got directly from Dydacomp. I've performed a local install of the workstation and everything works great, it's just excruciatingly slow due to bandwidth issues. When using Citrix, the speed is much faster, but we receive an error when trying to read the scale. Specifically, we see "Scale ActiveX Control is not registered properly" and then "Cannot read from scale port." I've spoken with support and registered the mscomm32.ocx and mscomctl.ocx files to no avail. We can read the scale fine in HyperTerminal, so we've eliminated Citrix as the culprit. I'm at a loss...please help!

Well, since no one seems to have any thoughts on the ActiveX error, does anyone have any suggestions on a good WAN solution for a remote shipping station? RDP and Citrix both work great for a simple workstation. The scale poses the only problem. What are other groups doing to get around this issue?
