Hey,

Windows Anti - spy software

I've been using this software for a week now. Works great and it is free.

Cheers,

DISCLAIMER: Always backup your MOMWIN folder before attempting to perform any updates, testing, etc. Once you blast the data away it's gone forever.
My advice is based on my 8 years of experience with MOM and Dydacomp. If you are not comfortable with data manipulation then hire someone who is.

Hi David,

Do you like it more than Lavasoft's Ad-aware? Lava Soft USA I haven't tried the Windows Anti-spy software yet. I am almost afraid that I will really like it and then Microsoft will start charging for it. (I am poor and Ad-aware is free.)One of Microsoft's reps was kinda mum when asked whether or not they will charge for the program down the road.

Thanks,

malaize

Hi,

I am extremely satisfied with Microsoft's Antispyware software. I have found hidden files (like netvizor's key logger) on pc terminals where Lavasoft's software failed to find them.

I'd even consider paying for it down the road if they started charging for it.

I highly recommend trying it out! You'll love the real time protection features.

Regards,

David

I had heard a few weeks ago that M$ purchased stopzilla or one of the other big companies then branded it as their own. Most likely they won't charge for it just like they don't charge for their firewall. What they may do is only include it in the Pro version or something like they do with their backup tool.
