Hi,
I was noticing alot of us having the same little "bugs" in MOM as I would call them and thought perhaps a thread listing the bug, and any known work arounds all in one place might be helpful. Perhaps it would be a good topic to be pinned and we could forward an updated list to Dydacomp once a month or so.
Admin: This is now it's own topic and these are the official rules. Don't worry about forwarding this to Dydacomp, I have to believe that with Neil here the rest of the MOM crew probably watch this site daily.
If anyone thinks this might be helpful I think it would be advantageous to set a few guidelines on posting.
1. I would suggest that only bugs or glitches should be posted with any workarounds that will get us by until the issue is resolved, not features or additions to MOM, there is a nice post all ready ongoing for that. Example:
Post Title: CTRL+X Deletes line items - MOM 5.x
Post Body: Description of bug
Fix - None
Workaround - Don't use CTRL+X
Post Title: Outlook blocks MOM from sending mail - MOM 3.x, 4.x, 5.x
Post Body: Description of bug
Fix - None
Work Around - Express Click Yes
2. Be kind. Although I feel that many of these known issues should be fixed in a timely fashion I am not a programmer and therefore maybe something that seems simple to you or I may be more complicated than appears.
3. Feel free to list bugs for older versions of mom with the workarounds, not all of us have $8000 laying around to upgrade. If it gets too cluttered here we can just break it up into different sub-forums.
4. Everyone feel free to comment on the different posts with ideas or other unlisted workarounds or tips regarding the given bug.
Any other ideas, thoughts, or guidelines? I am not all that versed in web board "how to" so maybe there is a better way to do this. If so please take over. Just an idea I had and felt it may be worth running by some of you.
Thanks and hope this may be of help.

Hey,
I think that's a great idea. I noticed many "fixes" for known bugs on the Yahoo Groups for MOM. I'd love to post them on this forum. Perhaps a section for them is in order.
Regards,
David

Done!
Interwoven, I edited your post to be the official "rules" with what I would like to see. Hope that's cool.
