Have a question. I know that using SiteLINK, you are able to setup source keys for internet referrals. Is it possible to enable physical source keys that would apply to a mail order catalogue as well? I'd like to give the customer a choice in what directed them to my site, even if it is physical advertising (newspaper, television).

As far as I can tell, SiteLINK only enables internet orders to have a hyperlink referral source key.

Can it be done?

Hello,

Do you mean a "How did you hear about us" drop-down menu? That is standard with SiteLINK 5.0.

There is also Coupon Redemption, which also works off of source keys.

So, the three ways source keys can be applied
1) Internet URL referrer -They click from an Affiliate URL and SiteLINK applies the source key (and discount of applicable).
2) They select source key from the "How Did You Hear About Us" Drop-down menu.
3) They enter in a source key (coupon) in the Coupon Redemption field.

Then you can run reports in MOM based on these source keys.

We can also set up a "write in" blank for "Other" that will import into the demographics tab in MOM if you wish.
