I am running version 5.3.
I was trying to figure out how to set up shipping tables for international orders using the two different USPS Global Priority flat rate envelopes (which actually vary with the country) and ended up deleting at least two zip code ranges. Fortunately the changes were not saved.
Steps to recreate the problem:
1. In the menu: Maintain > Shipping Information > Shipping Methods
2. Select any method that has a zone table. USPS Priority will do.
3. Select the Zone Table tab
4. Select any zip range entry you will be able to easily remember.
5. Click the New button. The Zone Information dialog pops up
6. Click the Cancel button on the dialog
You will notice at this point the zip range you had selected is now gone. There will also be a blank entry added to the bottom of the table. Another blank entry will be added each time you select, add, & cancel.
Fix - none
Workaround - Click cancel on the Shipping Methods Maintenance window and discard changes. If you made any actuay desired changes you will have to do them again.
Note that this may actually be a display bug. I was not willing to save the changes to verify that.
