And for what it is worth, upgrading to MOM 7i XL (for SQL) was the best investment I could have ever made in our business. All data is now readily accessible for data manipulation, web export or reporting.

And the built-in Report Builder in MOM is way better and easier than both Crystal Reports or Report Writer. I use the SQL Management Studio for many queries and data manipulation as well.

Thanks Everyone, We did purchase the upgrade to 7. Unfortunutly we had a problem last week and the fix wiped out our Foxpro report we were using so looks like we will need to see get the upgrade installed and see if the report writer will work or if we need to go customer with SQL. We are a just in time manufacturer, that allow our customers to personalize there product from mild to wild. We had someone write a backend program to pull our backorders out that would print order date customer name MOM product number and any special notes that go with that order. This hack just died and we don't remeber who wrote it so we need to change how we are doing this. We have never used the PO part of MOM but I'm hoping this will help streamline our system. We are currently running version 5.4 but have just purchased version 7 (not installed yet) How would you all reccomend we do this in MOM? Ideally we could create a kit where it the shirt could be one supplier, the trim another, and lettering a third. Any advise on the best way to go about this?
